Terms of Use

• This message board facility is strictly for the use of students of Royal Holloway Students' Union
• Owners of properties found using this facility may have their use of HouseSearch suspended
• These boards are moderated and messages are checked before being made live (within 24 hours, Monday to Friday). Royal Holloway reserves the right to prevent messages being displayed and to make minor edits to the content without prior consultation with the message author, at its own discretion.
• Royal Holloway operates an active policy against discrimination and messages attempting to discriminate on the basis of gender, sexuality, race, creed or colour will not be approved. When posting messages, please respect this policy and do not abuse others.
• Please note that all messages can be traced and in the event of this facility being abused, action will be taken.
• Messages should not include house numbers or landlord/agency contact details or these will not be approved
• Messages should not include external web-links or these will not be approved.
• Messages should not advertise properties on behalf of a landlord; these boards are intended for students to communicate with each other regarding vacancies, not as an alternative advertising forum for properties.
• Please be aware that if you post email addresses or telephone numbers, they are visible by other users of this site. Users under the age of 18 should not post their phone numbers, email addresses or postal addresses on the site.
